South Station will have Ritz Carlton residences
There are 166 luxury homes being built right above South Station in a project that will have both residential and commercial space, and it was recently announced by the project’s developer that they will be Ritz Carlton residences.
Residential homes start on the 35th floor of the 51 story, 680 foot tower that is set to become one of Boston’s tallest buildings of any kind and will feature panoramic Harbor views from their floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Amenities will include a private park, outdoor terrace, gardens and more.
The homes are set to be complete in 2025 as part of a three-phase project that also includes expansion of the South Station bus terminal and connecting it to the train terminal for a smoother transit experience. You can read more about it here in Boston Magazine.
Part of the project is being publicly funded to make the South Station area more beautiful; these homes will make their mark on the luxury market in the Financial District. Centrally located to the Seaport, downtown and Back Bay, and close to the highway, this whole redevelopment will transform the area.
