A proposal was filed for a new lab building project in Fort Point on the parking lot of the site of the former Gillette headquarters.  New York-based developer Tishman Speyer bought the property in 2021 and filed a letter of intent on Monday with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) to turn the site into a 455,000 sq ft mixed-use project including lab, office and retail space.   Read more about it at the Boston Business Journal.

Fort Point has always been known as a home for artists, and in recent years it's become a hub of innovation in tech, life sciences, and more.  It is a vital part of the Seaport's history and what makes its identity so unique today.
